Professional Edition
Legrand CRM requires the following minimum specifications to successfully install and operate on your computer.
- Pentium 4 or above CPU
- Windows® XP Professional, Windows Vista, Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 Operating System
- 512MB Memory (1GB for Windows Vista)
- Network capability for multi-user environments
- Microsoft Outlook (required for Outlook integration)
- Microsoft Word (required for Mail Merge functions)
- Microsoft Excel (required for list export functions)
Important Notes
Whilst Windows XP Professional will support file sharing, for multi-user environments of 3 or more users we strongly recommend that Windows server operating system (either 2000 or 2003) be employed. Legrand will install and operate on Windows XP Home Edition however due to the reduced networking functions of this Windows edition it cannot be supported.
Unfortunately Windows 95, 98 & ME are no longer supported platforms as Microsoft has discontinued support for Visual FoxPro (Legrand's database platform) for these operating systems.
Outlook Express is not supported by Legrand's Microsoft Outlook interface or MS Outlook addin utility.
Corporate Edition
Same as for Standard & Professional Editions however Microsoft SQL Server or MSDE is required for the server and any workstations wishing to utilise synchronization functions. Legrand CRM synchronization functions for version 4 or below require Microsoft SQL Server 2000 whilst version 5.0 and above require Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
Legrand CRM Microsoft Outlook Addin
Requires Microsoft Outlook 2003 or Microsoft Outlook 2007.
Legrand CRM Web Interface
Functions solely with Legrand Corporate Edition and requires Internet Information Services (IIS) to be operating on the SQL server. The .NET2 framework (available from Microsoft at no cost) must also be installed.
